Default will porting & milling kill my engine

i'm gonna put a pipe & clutch kit on my 1995 400 scram. in the spring. it's already bored .20 over, but i've heard so much good about porting & milling w/ the head & the cylinder, piston & such, but what all would a good porting & mill job cost me, who could do it & also do u think engine blow much easyer, i still want very good reliability, almost like stock, but more power, please let me know????

Did you have a Weisco put in with the overbore? It's good to have when you go with an aftermarket pipe since it revs a little higher. I'd suggest HPD on the pipe and going thru Rick since he sells HPD stuff. Just tell him what you want to accomplish with your mods and he'll guide you in the right direction. The 400 motor with the Trail mod(trail porting, milled head, bored carb) is very reliable with good power from down low all the way to the top.
