how is the white brothers muffler for the 2004 scrambler? apparently Fmf doesnt make a muffler for it. Which really angers me because it is the best for the 03 and younger. But fmf direct tech line or what not told me it wont work on 04. Anyone know of a good one with just a muffler and no pipe? Because i can get fmf and whitebrothers at cost. Otherwise is the hpd any good?

 

The HPD is GREAT!!! But the White Bros is good too. You will need to get a 160 main jet for it though. Did FMF (which I would suggest staying away from with a Polaris) give any reason why their muffler wouldn't work with the 04? They didnt change anything about the motor, exhaust, or frame?

 

no they didnt say why. Fmf for a polaris is supposed to be a 6hp gain. A place called adrenaline does it all the time.

 

I heard a 500 Scram with a White Bros. pipe and man it sounded mean. I don't know if it ran any better but it sure sounded good.

 

There is NO WAY you are going to get 6hp out of an FMF slip on for the scram. NO WAY!!. The HPD pipe is a dyno'd 4-5 hp gain, and that is a FULL exhaust. I think that FMF is exagerating a little

 

I just installed a white brothers pipe on my Scrambler and it sounds Bad A$$. i am gonna take it for a run this evening and see how it feels.
