thinking about jumping ship

I have both machines and since I bought the V I haven't been on my Scrambler other than to load it on and off the trailer. It is actually my wife's now. The Scrambler is a great bike but the V is just awesome, deep snow or mud is the only time I think I'll switch over to the Scrambler. But for your riding style I would go with the V. It is also the most comfortable bike for trail riding, I can ride all day and still want more where a few of the guys I ride with are hammered and beat to death in half the time. Just my .02.
Good luck.

I highly recomend the V Force. Unless you absolutely need 4 wheel drive go with the kfx. For a 2wd sport quad it has excellent ground clearance and traction. I am amazed on how well my V will crawl over obstacles. It will go most places a 4x4 will go except deep mud and deep snow. The acceleration 0-40 is outstanding, and if you like to do wheelies then this machine is for you. It is very easy to ride and the shifter for the auto-tranny on the handlebar is great. You can stop and put it into reverse quicker than any other quad. It is a bit heavy but does not feel like it when you ride it. It is very stable and has a low center of gravity. It also jumps very well for a big sport bike. I prefer the auto tranny to manual. I can ride faster and is much easier on a tight track. Polaris makes an excellent quad as well but I wouldn't trade my V Force for any other sport bike....

I have both machines and like both of them. If i had to limit myself to one bike, I would have to take the 500 because I like rough, rugged, steep, rocky, narrow, technical riding as much as I like to go fast. To do some of my favorite trails, i need the 4X4. However, I'm really glad that I don't have to limit myself!!

I'm going through the same thing. I've been wanting the scrammy for awhile. But then I saw the kawasaki 700 in the grey metalic and it was the bike for me. Then I started thinking about loosing the 4x4 and people are saying that the shocks bite on the scrammy since they took out the fox shocks. I'm 5 foot 9 and weigh 170. I wonder if the front end would just keep on flying up with me on it. On some of the trails I ride, there is some rough tourain and steep inclines. I wonder when I give it the juice on the incline. If it would want to flip on me. I sure dont have that promblem now on my 250. Decisions Decisions.
