My new 04 Pred. Care Tips???

Well to start with, You need to grease it (8 of them on the front a-arms and one on the axle housing). After you get the break in oil out, you need to change the oil every 10hrs. Oil the chain regularly. Hozed said somethings that I didn't know, I think they had to do with the swing arm bushings and maybe even the axle bushings. Brad

ya you need to grease the swing arm.... to do so you need to remove the big bolt that connect the swing arm to the engine.. and grease all the bushings and stuff.... then throw it back together... it doesnt take to long.

When you change the oil, you put in two quarts of PS2 and change the filter too. Another thing about changing the oil, The drain plug on the bottom of the oil res. does not need to be really tight, make sure you dont over tighten it. I use a 1/4 inch ratchet so I know I wont over tighten it. Make sure that you pay attention to how the filter comes out, so you can put it back together correctly too. Brad
