help with scrambler

Well if the only thing you rebuilt was the top end right? If so you might not have enough compression, are you sure you have the piston ring gaps staggered? and its bored and honed correctly?

I have been very dissapointed with it it might be because im running a power bomb header with it though

If you're positive you have spark at the plug and fresh gas in the carb then as long as the compression is there it should fire. Don't just rely on the pull start to tell you have good compression. Put a compression tester on there and see what you get. You may have a problem with your piston installation.

Ya,,,sounds like it would be compression...But if you said everything is A ok then I know I rebuilt some things on my scrammy..I have an electric start but it wasn't wanting to fire up....All mine needed was a little boost so I sprayed a little bit of ether into the air intake in the carb...It fired up after that on high choke...if you try it don't overdue it with ether...that crap will burn up crap if there is to much in there...but good luck on getting it running..I still say its compression...but good luck.
