There is no possible way to paint plastic and make it stay good looking. The plastic is one color all the way through, that is how it stays somewhat nice. To get out you srcatches, you may try buffing it. Brad

yes....you can paint plastic.Just make sure you put a paint sealer on it first, and scuff it with a scuff pad so it will stick. but now when you scratch it the scratches will be red.another problem is....when the plastic bends, the paint will crack!!!so dont hit anything real hard.

Our's are being painted right now, i will post pics when it's done. I would only paint them if your riding sand or dragging only. To easy to scrath paint in the woods.

to paint them use paint with a flexable additive..ie.. flexable bumper paint
you can find it at any auto parts store..
It looks good till you scratch or crack it
Then the red will show....

Hello Quad Racer

If the painting doesn't work, you can new black plastic from the dealer. I'm putting black plastic on my Trail Blazer 400, I prefer the black over the stock yellow, so I ordered the black from my dealer, its costing me just under $500 for new front and rear fenders and the new graphics.

Default Can you paint your plastic????

Hey guys...thanks for the info...I work at a hardware store and I checked on our online products which I can order...I found an arasol (sp) paint called fusion...I can get it in gloss black and its made expecially for plastic and nothing else..and its suppose to be chip resistent so its not suppose to chip off..I'm going to try it....If in the end it doesn't work out for me then I'm just going to get new plastic for it...I know I can get the 2000 plastic,,front and rear fenders for like 290....but I really want black..so I might take NEEDMORETOYS advice and get the new plastic for like 500 hundred..I'll let you guys know how it turns out! thanks for the info

ever color you want???

the only problem is it may make your plastic to soft...
