with his stock tires read 87mph
with his 23bandits on front 22spiders on back it read 74mph
From these reading, it looks like the dealer set up the trailtech for 23" tires. You dont happen to know what the setting is on his trailtech do you?

Ok so if its set to 23's and he puts his 22's is that why its reading 87
so that means with it set higher and putting smaller tires it read's higher no matter what the # ?

If you contact Trailtech, they should be able to provide you with the formula to properly calibrate your computer so that speedo is properly calibrated. They are located here in Battleground,Wa. www.trailtech.com

Also,

Basically it requires you to measure the front tire height and convert it to metric. Then do a formula. I couldnt find my manual to help you, but it was pretty easy to adjust when I did mine. I still have the predator formula programmed on my computer that is in my ds. My predator was slightly modded with a few go faster parts and it was topped out at 59mph.

We ran a bone stock Pred down the tar (yea I know) so there was no tire slippage, next to a car with an accurate spedo and it hit the rev limiter at 74mph.

I got a chance to take my scrambler with my mods on a speed run.. I got 67mph on my trailtech. That was on dirt all out full throttle...
