Default hi/lo beam question??

The instructions that snowride gives are perfect. I am not a quad mechanic by no means and I did the lighting conversion myself and it works great. Only thing though...I have had my battery light to flash on the display screen when I was riding with the three lights on and the radiator fan come on and pulled more power. I turned the lights back to "dim" and the battery flashing light cut off and then when the fan cut off I turned the lights back to "high" beam and no problems. Great conversion and makes a heck of a difference. I did this conversion last year and we ride alot at night, almost every weekend, and I haven't had any major problems. good luck. well worth the time and few bucks for materials. I had all the stuff laying around the shop except the relay (got it from radio shack). It took about 5-10 minutes to install and presto. Turned them on and looked at them, my dad laughed and said I looked like a deer in the headlights cause they were so bright.
