New Excited member! New Predator coming!
#1
Hello everyone! Just wanted to say hi!
I am new to sport quads, but not new to speed or air or wrenching. I am a big snowmobiler, and love wrenching on sleds. I have an 03 F5 and it is fast! I had a CBR600 that I drove waaaaay to fast, and i sold that to buy my 2000 silverado. Now I am buying a predator to experiment with. I want something that I can pound hard, and drive extremely fast with! I hope I can get my predator this weekend. I can't wait to get wrenching on that thing to see how fast it will go! I am a big hunter, so this is not a good 4-wheeler for that, but we have a 2002 Sportsman HO for work and hunting. That thing is fast too. We just have alot of clutch problems with it. I put a clutch kit in it to get it to engage a little harder, and it helped alot. You can pull wheelies with it! It gets expensive though, replacing the clutch every 500 miles. Has anyone had this problem? it got a little better after I put the clutch kit in, but I think the main problem is the engine braking is hard on the clutch. I might have to get rid of the EBS clutch system.
Anything I should know before picking up my predator? I can't wait, those things are pretty fast!
