piston oversize

Default piston oversize

my friend needs a oversize piston the cyclinder is worn out good dose any one think 0.020 would be a good size or go up to a 0.040

you cant tell w/o seeing it.. best thing to do it take it to a machine shop and see what they have to say.
most people go .20 over

ya. thats was what i meant... actually it should be .0020, thats twenty thousands... i think...

Bore the cylinder as little as possible . It may clean up at .010" . Don't bore more than you need .

I put them in the bar and know my sizes and bore til things clean up . The worst wear is around and above the exhaust port , and around and below the intake port .
