I have a 97 sportsman 500, and I have this problem where when I am riding with the high breams on and I hit a bump or something to make me bounce a little, the throtle limiter kicks in for a spilt second and dogs down the motor. I was thinking a wires striped or sothing and its just grounding out the throtle limiter, or whatever. Just woundering your thoughs and if anyone else experenced this problem,(probably a freak), and your idead on fixing the prob, but one thing I havent looked through the wires yet so it could be simple.

thanks for your ideas and help.
much appreciated Muddog

If you can make it happen whenever you want, look and see if the reverse light flickers just a little bit. I was having that problem last week. I was riding in the river all weekend and I was getting a short from all of the water (it stopped as soon as it dried out). Have you had yours in the water just before it bogs down? It may just be a loose wire (hopefully) that is easy to fix.
I know that isn't much help, but it may give you somewhere to start.
Later,
