Went riding at Wolf Pen Gap last weekend and my dad snapped the chain on a water bar on his 400 Explorer. How much will a new front, rear sprocket, and a chain cost? Also on my 2000 Blazer there is a small crack in the bottom of the airbox will this hurt anything?

Sidewinder has sprockets that are supposedly indestructable. They also have chains. You can check them out at www.sidewinder.com and check out their products.

Stay away from Sidewinder.

I know some one that was lied to 3 times over the phone in two different conversations.

They sell $60 Regina o-ring chains for $100 after they try and ship you a non o-ring chain for $100.

Also if you read their ad it says their sprockets will outlast 3 aluminimum sprockets. Guess what you don't have an aluminum sprocket on your quad.

Spend the $35.00 and pick up a Polaris sprocket or order all of your sprockets and chains from Dennis Kirk.com and save yourself some more money.

From What I have seen and experienced first hand Sidewinder lacks credibility and is a rip-off artist.

I purchased a stainless rear sproket, chromoly front and non O ring Quadramax chain for my 99 Scrambler. I have only put a couple hundred miles on at best but this is primarily in sand and mud. The sprokets show no sings of wear and the chain has only stretched slightly. The customer service was excellent. The received my order at 4:00 pm and shipped the same day. They seemed very knowledgeable and were not pushy about any of their products. I recently visited their facility St. Charles, IL (Just outside of Chicago) while on a sales trip and I can tell you they appear to be very well organized and are in a nice facility. It does appear that all of their products are distributed and they just put their name on the sprokets and chain. I do not know who the actual manufacturer of the stainless or aluminum sprokets are but I do know none of the manufacturing takes place in St. Charles, Il.

i purchased the sidewinder stainless steel and the steel front they offer and a regina chain, and have been satisfied with there performance.I went through 2 sets of polaris chains and sprockets that is why I tought I would try somthing different. The polaris chains rollers would always split apart and eat up the spocket. the regina I recieved from sidewinder felt alot more heavy duty and was suppose to be stronger than stock. So far the chain works great but only have had it about a month. it seemed I had to adjust the stock chain almost everytime I rode, but the side winder setup I have only adjusted once, and I riden it every weekend. but see how long it last, at this point if it last a year I will be happy
