For anyone who is interested I talked with him earlier this week, and I was told that he is dilligently working on a light kit for both the Polaris 400 and 500 Scramblers (and Sport).

The kit will resemble the one featured in the recent ATV Sport. They had a prototype kit on their Scrambler 400. Ricky was not happy with the finished product as he was apparently rushed to make a print deadline.

I was told the 400 kit will have dual 55W PIAA's, and the 500 will get dual 75 watter's because it has a bigger stator. Both kits should retail for around $220. A bit pricey for lights, compared to other alternatives, but I think they look cool and hope to get a set this winter.

Not sure if he wll have an "aluminator" kit out for them or not. He has a link on the main page if anyone else is interested.

I used a Hella 500 Driving light kit from my local auto speed shop I think it was on sale for 69.95. It comes with every thin you need ( wiring Harness, Light, covers , Switches ect...)
These are very impressive, I do about 60 % of my riding at night, so I use them alot.
They have held up very well. I made some mounting brackets out of 1" angle iron and some U bolts. I also modified the harness to make the lights quick disconnect.
See Ya Drew
