does anyone on here own one? or even the 300. My riding buddy has one and everytime we ride I am more impressed with his machine. Why did Polaris stop making them?

My neice owns a 300. I think that they are a great machine. They handle well and the acceleration is very brisk.

I believe that they did not sell enough of them due to the poularity of the 4x4's and were subsequently dropped from the line up.

The next best thing is the Xplorer 400 which can usually be had brand new for $4999.

 

I have a 95 300 and my Uncle has a 97 400 and yes they are great machines. That 400 is one fast machine. From a dead stop it is not hard to put it on it's back! I wish they did still make them too.
