Default front fenders on pred

Hey guys, I'm sure that I'm just not seeing how to do it, but how do you remove the front fenders on the pred? Does the black nose piece come off? I removed all of the obvious bolts, but the two near the handle bars won't come loose, and the bolt is twisting, if I could get the black piece off I think I could get to it. I am trying to install my tether cord. I don't see how the black piece comes off. Thanks Brad

the front fender cab piece comes off in one unit, disconnect the headlamps, then 3 bolts one right in the center above the black nose piece theres an air opening look in farther you will see it. Then 1 bolt on each side mounted to the frame. then pull the whole unit towards you slides right off. Takes about 3 minutes, hope this helps ya.

It is a pain in the rear. You have to take the nose piece of first and then the headlights and all three frame mounts, then the mount near the stem has a bolt also. Then there are 2 clips on the gas tank that you have to pull out... Good luck-- I broke my nose piece while doing mine
