Steering Stablizer for Pred
#1
Hey guys, I found a guy with a cheap steering stablizer for a pred. I was wondering what the ss helps?? Is it hard to install? Are there any disadvantages of having it? Thanks Brad

Brad go for it . get the stablizer!!!it will help alot.
It makes the steering much better on the pred.It also makes the whole front end feel better almost like having your shocks rebuilt or just lke adding a new shock.
Think of it this way it's a shock for your steering and your arms.
Since I have had mine, the steering has been more controllable,it's not twitchy like it is stock.
It has seemed to me that without the damper I would over steer a turn which made the quad slid more. Now that I have the damper the steer lets the bike go where you point it.
It's easy to put on although I don't like how it sticks out but the bumper will help it from getting smashed.
TRY IT!!!
Thanks
Matt

Yeah I think that is going to be my next mod also. The Pred does seem to turn a little too easily some times, and it would be nice to be able to adjust for riding diferent conditions

I wish i had installed a dampner on my pred when I raced it. My YFZ is getting one ASAP before the Iowa series starts! The pred does steer easily, yes, and bump steer is reduced by the design, but it steers so easily, that you often find yourself wandering a bit on the trail and that in itself can create some bump steer, and in the high speed sections, the front can get twitchy, the dampner will keep you more accurate.
