how loud is the RCR stage 1 kit for the trail boss and how does it improve the trail boss?

i dont have the rcr kit on a trailboss but i do have it on my trailblazer. it is considerdbrably louder than stock. it does sound much much better though.

Very loud, but you can pull some disks from the silencer. Rick though I was nuts for doing that but frig, it was louder than my Z400 with an HMF. It's way over 100 Db. The silencer mounting kinda sucks and vibrates the crap outta the head pipe. I would not go that route again. I'd put my own silencer of choice on there and make it fit right.

 

Mark, is it louder than a stock Blazer? I hope so. When my neighbors party too late and too loud, and don't turn down the music after being asked politley, I ususally start it up at 7:30 am. Just a happens to be parked as close to their bedroom I can get it and still keep it on my side of the fence. I get up at 4:00 am for work, so sleeping in to me is 6:00 am.

 

I would say its louder then the stock blazer. You can take some of the disk out if its to loud for you.

 

If I can't hear my wife, it ain't too loud!
