Default ? about sportsman boots

I have an 03 500 ho and just found out today that one of my boots on the rear end next to the hub is busted. Has anyone else had any trouble with these? How much do they cost? Thanks for the help.

I had to replace mine a few months back....but mine is a 1999. If you still ride it much sure you put alot od grease in the tore boots, so no dirt in get in the bearings. I cheapest place I found them is Brocktoncycle.com...they are $15.99 a side.

It is not an uncommon thing to have happen. You can buy the stock boots. I replaced one of ours with one from Gorilla Axle.

They are stiff and way better quality.

I wouldn't recommend riding around on it like that. Those cv joints are VERY expensive. Make sure you clean that old joint out. Don't want any dirt or water in there. Also, there is a recommended amount of grease to put back in there.
