Default next mods for trailblazer and scrambler

this is what has been done so far to the quads;

2000 scrambler 400 2x4, - bored to 84mm, milled head, rcr pipe/clutch spring/air box mod...
what would be next for this set up? i think i really need a clutch kit(which one)??? or a 40 or 42 mm carb???head work???reeds with spacer?? what would be next????

2000 trailblazer 250, bored to 73mm, milled head, rcr pipe/clutch,spring/air box mod... need 34mm or 35mm carb (thinking of using the one of the scrambler) need clutch kit(which one)???? head work??? porting??? reeds??? do they make a reed spacer for the tb?)

need a little extra speed but dont wont to really sink $2,000 for the big bore kits, need help/advice on which to do next, the quads will 60% dunes, 25% flat track, 15% racing, thanks for any and all help...
