Polaris 700 efi VS. Prairie 700

PrairiePower, You will beat your buddy's new 700EFI at first when the 700EFI isnt broken in, but once the 700EFI has about 60-100 miles on her the 700EFI will walk all over ya. I happen to know from expierence!!!!!!

I think some of you are just tryin make polaris to be ALOT better, but ive witnessed some pulling involving a Prairie 700 and Polaris 600,and 700(not EFI) and the Prairie 700 took them both, and all three of the quads were running 589 M's, ... so im not sure but once Brett gets his EFI we'll hook up, and ill try and get some pics.. and you all can SEE the facts. Also for predatorman I'll take some pics of the what he thinks his EFI will do!....and even if i lose ill send some pics, just to be fair.

oh yeah, the kawi towing capacity is 1,250 lbs where as the polaris is 1500 lbs combine that with the 118lb weight difference and its kinda obvious who will pull who, without even seeing it..

when you are talking these 4x4's it dont matter who wins in a race cus they werent designed for racing they are more designed for pulling and traction....so hooking them together is the only way i see testing who has the better machine....but racing is fun too...

In respose to your question, Its a tough one. The two machines are very different, and are better for different things. First off, the Polaris is the better work machine with more clearance and a greater carrying and towing capacity. Trail riding is good on both. The prarie is sportier, the polaris is softer. The polaris is hard on gas, but not as bad with the efi. If you are looking for deep mud and snow, you need to look at the irs on the polaris. From your comments, I would guess you want this machine for a more utilitarian use, so I would guess the polaris would be better for you. Ride counts a lot. If you can get on them and try them out, it can really alter your perception of the machine. Good luck on your purchase.

All of you kawi lovers and honda lovers on here thats fine... ride what you want and is what best suited for you and your style. But don't get on here and say you've witnessed the praire out pull the sp700 and not the other way around. Was the 700 on ice and you on dry pavement? Give me a break!! IT TAKES WEIGHT TO PULL WEIGHT! Your praire is out matched in the pulling department PERIOD! I don't doubt a bit that your praire will out run my 700 EFI ....WOOOPTY DOO!!! Your 4X4 is faster than mine, but guess what that is not the reason I spent 8000 on a 4X4. Let me guess next your going to come the polaris site and tell everybody that your V-force can push more snow and pull more than the predator. Then you can go to the yamaha site and say it can push more snow with a plow than a banshee can. Are you starting to see how your comments are looking now or do you need me to run a tow rope through your ears and pull the thought through along with your 4X4.

Yeah no kidding, a sportsman not winning a pull off....come on man lay off the crack pipe. The sportsman will walk all over everything, plain and simple. And as for a race, the sportsman was clutched a little on the light(slow) side to allow for better pulling power and safer hill climbing....so put a better spring in it, and that sucker will kick anything's @ss!!
