Polaris 700 efi VS. Prairie 700

This is the first time I have seen someone brag about being fatter than the next

It has been my experience that the Prarie will easily out-accelerate the Sportsman, but I do know the 700 EFI has a higher top speed than the Prarie 650 (given a long enough run). Not sure about the P700 though.

ok...first off stock for stock the prarie will take the sportsman in a drag race
now...the pulling contest
If the pulling contest was to be done it would have to be done right...hooking two atvs together hardly qualifies as a pulling contest to me...The two machines would have to equal wieght and have the hitch at the same point from the ground...and then of course an actual sled being used...that is the only way I could justify an actual pulling contest being won.
now...that we have said that...the "add 300 pounds to the prarie and then see who wins at a drag race" comments...just no...go to an actuall drag race..is there weight restrictions?? no so that comment to me is not valid..but that is just me

You guy's want to see a fast Utility atv check out the new Kawi 750 Brute Force. I got a chance to ride one last weekend. Drag raced a guy on a P700 in a 300ft race, beat him by 1 1/2 atv lengths. This things awsome!!

Well if One is to Ad weight to the Prarie to make it competitive in pulling and equal the weight, then one must also add the same amout of weight to the Prarie to Equal the Sportsman in a drag race, after all fair is fair.
The PRarie is faster, its been proven over and over and over again. theres just no way for the Sportsman to lose the 120 pounds necessary to be competitive. The Prarie is sportier, Slides better, Jumps Better, accelerates better.
The Sportsman Rides better, is More utilitarian, excels at towing and those long range rides where you really load the racks down.

It is hard to compare this two because they were obviously made for different reasons...If you like speed then the Prairie is your quad...You need to do som work then SP700 is the ticket...I would go with the SP700 bc other than down a road(wich isn't really that fun) were else can you go 70+ mph...I would rather have a slower engine wiht more low end power it is alot more usefull....

You see, I think polaris machines are very good machines, but I know a lot of people who hate them and mostly because of the idiots who do own them making up garbage and ragging other brands.
