Cheapest Pipe?
#13
You cant always go by (you get what you pay for). This is why! Look at HSP. They have one of the most expensive pipes out but you cant say they are the best. Yes they are good but far from the best. Then you have AAEN which has been working on Polaris for years and years. They have one of the cheapest pipes. By far better than HSP. HPD being near the top. And RCR being in the middle. And ofcourse DG being at the bottom where they belong. I would think HPD and AAEN are at the top,RCR in the middle,HSP next and DG at the bottom. I cant personally say that I know RCR products but I do know that he gives great service that you WONT find at HPD or HSP. He also provides an affordable kit. So with his product, service and price that would put him up with HPD and AAEN. I have had great service from AAEN. The performance, quality and service is top knotch. I use to have HPD products but the fit was not always right and the quality of the pipes could be a little better. They had alot of weld spatter. But never the less HPD probably out performs everyone else. So is the most expensive the best and the cheapest the worst? Dont count DG because we all know that they are crap. In this case out of HPD,HSP,AAEN,and RCR I would put HSP (the most expensive) at the bottom.

I believe the Hot Seat pipe probably created great power, but its problem is the same as the DG unit, The pipe and NON SPARK ARRESTED, (((LOUD))) silencer are 1 and can not be separated or changed.
That is a bigissue when our riding areas are being CLOSED DOWN and the need for lower DB units are in need.
As far as power the HPD,HSP, AAEN and RCR are VERY very close, all dependent up on how the bike is set up.
As others have stated the RCR stage 1 set up is the BEST VALUE ON THE MARKET TODAY @ only $325.00 for everything.
DIRTRIPPER asked about the cheapest pipe, Well yes you can get the dg unit for $180-$190
Well these are polaris machines with PVT transmission that MUST MUST MUST be reclutched to reflect the gains on power(not included w/dg) ,they are minimal otherwise.
Not to mention proper jetting (also not included w/dg)
And the most improtant, A1 polaris support.(also not included w/dg)
The RCR stage 1 kit will give you everything you NEED, nothing you don't.

You want a pipe, then you'll want a spring. You may need to rejet. Might as well get a two stage filter. So you buy your pipe for 200 bucks, add shipping, and hope you get good service. Get the RCR stage 1 kit. Gets you everything just listed, great service and a good product. Call Rick, he's already given you free advice.
DUH! Good job of reading the signature there Scooter! Call Rick anyway, he carries quality performance parts.
