Yeah Markie, we have a lot of ********* here in California! The dunes have been chipped away, acre by acre, making it tougher and tougher on the people who utilize the minimal space. We're down to about 1200 acres of rideable dune because we have the Snowy Plover (a tiny bird) which is on the endangered list. It's all junk science though and just a backdoor method for the Sierra Club, et al., to shut down rider access. I could **** and moan for hours but I would be preaching to the choir here.
I tried that trick today with the EBS and I think it works. I'd like to try it some more on different terrain but it feels as though I have some front wheel control on the steep downslope. Maybe you can try it and see what result you get.

Markie, You've been unhappy with the Sportsmans' EBS since you bought it. I'm just wondering why you haven't got rid it and bought one of the other quads you mentioned? I'm not picking on you, just wondering. It's been a major thing for you. I'm with you why have an $8000 dollar machine if your affraid of it? If a person is not confident they won't ride, or they may make mistakes.

I test drove the ac 650,the steering seemed stiff and the ride seemed stiff and when the paper work was done I would have lost my rear end.I will wait a couple of year and let everyone figure the efi thing out and then I will buy one.The ebs is my only complaint on my 700, I cluched it and installed a high alt kite and now it pops wheelies.I think the suspention is the best like I said before and having another atv to ride also things are not so bad.
