Mixture Screw

Default Mixture Screw

I need to know a little about it. If I run it in does this make it rich....And out runs it lean?I got it running good now, but I would like the plug to be a little darker. I still have the 310 jet in it, and the clip is in the middle. I'm going to be riding at 12:00 today....I will keep checking in today. You are correct in is rich and out is lean.Just don't go out too far,2 1/2 should be the max.

I'm going to turn it in about a 1/4 of a turn. I want it just a little richer.

1/4 turn at a time is THE best way to adjust it. Little by little. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

It's running like it should now. I raced my buddy on his 2003 scrambler 2x4 today....before we was even (when I just had the pipe and K&N) Since mine is 4x4. I took him by 8 quads. Man I'm happy. He don't like to be beat. But he is stock....and alot lighter too.

hmm maybe u guys can help me out to im going to put in a 150 main jet tues and for the air/fuel screw how do i know when mine is right just got out 2 1/2 turns or turn on the quad and turn it until the rpms are up the most ? the only things i got in my tb that would affect it is prob the k&n filter, head milled .25 and a dg exhaust for now
