Hey Guys,
I have a few questions about the Ramsey or Warn winches. Due to reports that the mounting plates for the Ramsey and Warn 3000# winches bend under the weight of a plow, I am considering getting a smaller winch that fits in the alotted space in between the front headlights on the 2004.5 SP 700. This would be more sturdy and there would be nothing to bend because of the weight of a plow.
I also have a queston regarding plowing with a highlifter 2" Lift. I am concerned that with the Glacier plow systeem, it will be hard to get the plow to touch the ground, considering the 2" lift makes the plow sit 2" higher as well.
I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHAT SIZE WINCH FITS INTO THE WINCH SPACE PERFECTLY,
WITHOUT STICKING OUT ON A 2004.5 SPORTSMAN 700.
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE USES THE GLACIER PLOW SYSTEM WITH A LIFT KIT.
---IF SO, DOES THE PLOW GET DOWN TO THE GROUND, OR WILL IT STOP DROPPING BEFORE THE GROUND?
