Just ordered HPD pipe!!

Well it's done. I just ordered a HPD trail pipe and clutch kit along with a weisco piston for my Scrambler. Some poeple are so convincing in these forums that I even decided to get a steering dampener too! Thanks a lot for making me spend more money Stevie!!! LOL
Can't wait to try it out...I won't be sleeping for the next week.
By the way I have to give it to Darrel over at HPD. He spent a total of about 1 1/2 hours on the phone explaining all kinds of stuff to me. Didn't try to sell me stuff that wasn't worth it. If this pipe and clutch do what they are supposed to do, I will spend some more hard earned money at HPD!

Before I bought from RCR, I had a order for a HPD Trail Pipe. They told me over the phone that it should be at my house in the next 5 working days. So, I waited and waited and waited some more until i decided to call them. I get that nice old lady on the phone a she goes,"Yes, the pipes are on delays and should be at your house in about 2 more months....." Then I said well @#$%!!!!...I told her to cancel my order!...Well if you get it in about 4 to 5 working days then I would say your lucky!....Should of bought from RCR ( VERY FRIENDLY GUY,MR.RITTER) well i didn't mean to sound rude but that is how they were on the phone after I said i wanted to cancel my order. Well later dude hope you love your products from them. Later,Kenny

I got my pipe in 3 days. They were all out of the regular pipes, so they gave me a nickel plated pipe at no extra charge. I thought that was nice. Performance upgrade was great, Like a whole new bike. Have fun w/ your pipe.

If I buy the scrambler 400 4X4, It will
be good to compare both ride with or
without the pipe and clutch.
By the way, where did you buy your QUAD and
what dealer to you recommend in the montreal
region.
Thanks in advance !!
What is a good price for the 400 scambler 2000?

Hey mchamp! I bought mine at Parc D'amusement Deux Montagnes because it was the only dealer that let me test ride it.Even going into the other dealers and telling them that I would be spending over 10000$ they would not let me. My dealer has a two year warranty and sticks by it pretty good. They changed my brakes twice so far. As far as "know-how" upon sales and knowledge about mods forget them! The sales guy did not even know what a k&n filter was. Plus last time I got my quad back from them, the rear wheels were not even bolted on!!!!! I do not want to offend the dealer though.
Pretty much all the dealers up here are behind in mod technology. I asked a dealer in Terrebonne about a roller-clutch and he told me it has never been done and would cost about 1200$...what a crock!
For mods I recommend "Laval Moto" on Boul Cartier. They used to be a Polaris dealer and really know there stuff. Plus they can tweak your machine to your likings. They do a lot of work on street bikes.
So far the best dealer I have found was near my camp...3 hours from Montreal...just above Mt-Laurier. A really small dealer but thay know everything! I stop there whan I need jobs done.
I am going riding till Sunday. If you need any more info just e-mail me or post it here. I will have to check for that price. It's around 7000$. They did not budge on the price but did give me a "deal" on rear Bearclaws for my Scram.
