sorry,superballs.You just Don't know what kind of a rider he was racing when he talks about you wiping out,then brags about beating you in race.Now not to be a a$$hole but how would you take it.
Also give yourself a little more time and I'm sure you'll beat him.What gear Do youstar in wit that quad being stock. With stock gearing I start in first and pop it quick into 2nd. I noticed it's faster that way then starting in first.
One last thing If you EVEN push that motor into the rev limiter YOU WILL LOSE! In a race with two quads that are close in top speed If you just hit that rev limitter you Lose.Learn to ide that rev limiter and You WILL WIN!
He can push his in any gear without hitting his. As soon as you hit yours it will drag down the RMPs ontill you sift or let off the throttle.

In a little while YOU WILL BEAT HIM!!

 

We werent even drag racing really. All we did was Side By Side Top End runs. A 5 year old could Hold the Gas pinned LOL. Thats all we did and my Raptor was pulling away from his Pred, Not Very Fast but it was. Time After Time different Directions and everything else. I'm not no pro Rider Either. Superballs probably does way more stuff then what I would do with my quad.

 

Also when we did do some drag races we were pretty even. He tried starting in 2nd one time and I just destroyed him but when we both started in 1st we both acceled about the same

 

yeah he can beat me top end, drag racing might be different. But we both novice riders i just take a little more chances with my quad then he does.
