Do you have a tach on it, just wondering what it is shifting out at?

Default my scrambler is slow!!

I had some of those dune hoppers and man they just don't hook up like a hauler will. I know they are expensive but they flat out hook. I've heard great things about the Sand Stars also. Not too expensive either. The hoppers blade height is just not to good. My bike didn't run too well with the 14 tooth. I put the 13 back on and it seemed to have MORE top end cause it could rev on out.

hey duneaholic, if you don't mind a couple of questions..
what color springs (primary and secondary) are you running in the clutch....
did you have any trouble adjusting the choke after installing the bigger carb, if so how did you fix...
what size k&n filter are you using??/
sorry for so many questions, but!!!!!

thanks.....

I'm running a red/yellow HPD primary and a violet primary HPD. I am having a time setting the choke and float level but I think that I got it just about right. I'm running a K&N clamp on filter. Not sure how big it is but pretty good size. I'm gonna be at the dunes this friday. Come if you can.

On your secondary try 1-1 this is middle of the road and one step tighter than you have now.

Default my scrambler is slow!!

I take back saying my quad is slow. When i was raicng on flat wet sand this weekend and it rips i was beating piped predators, raptors, Zs, trx450s, and yfzs, even some r's and banshees i couldn't believe it i'm not sure if its becasue of my dune hopppers could actually hook up on wet sand or if my clutching is just not working right up hills because against the same quads up a hill the ones that i was usually even with would beat me by 3-4 bike lengths usually.

First of all I have to say that what you are doing is plain stupid, why the heck are you gonna buy a slow *** quad in the first place and end up spending thousands just to make it faster, you should sell your peice of junk and use the cash to get a raptor, or ds650, or even a yz450 which are all fast in stock form, the raptor could use a big bore kit with a few other mods, and to use as much throttle as possible, a longer swingarm can do the trick, with a new chain and stiffer spring.
