my scrambler is slow!!
Hey I wanna. If you ever rode a modded 400 then you might not be so quick to judge. They are extremely fun to ride. Not to mention the fun factor of beating high performance quads. With the price of my quad and mods is still cheaper then a YFZ or Raptor new. It's not good manners to bash someone's quad just because you disagree with their choice of machine.

First of all I have to say that what you are doing is plain stupid, why the heck are you gonna buy a slow *** quad in the first place and end up spending thousands just to make it faster, you should sell your peice of junk and use the cash to get a raptor, or ds650, or even a yz450 which are all fast in stock form, the raptor could use a big bore kit with a few other mods, and to use as much throttle as possible, a longer swingarm can do the trick, with a new chain and stiffer spring.

I just rebuilt my scrambler with a stock bore wiseco piston it has a hpd trail pipe, 39pwk carb, reed spacer, clamp on k&n, clutch kit, evcerything it doesnt need removed, and it is still slow i went to the dunes this weekend and wasnt impressed i was getting beat by piped z-400s. any ideas why it is so slow or do i just need to keep pouring more money into the piece of junk.
