Default has anyone seen this?

Asking all predator owners!!! on the bottom of the case where the water pump is, There is a small hole in the casting. I noticed a couple of times when I would start my predator and let it idle. Every once in awhile I will see small drips of coolant coming from this hole. Is this normal? Is it an overflow hole? Or is this a potential problem? Any help would be nice.............................thanks

its a weep whole... if coolant is coming out that is supose to mean your waterpump seal is bad.

thats what the weep whole is there for... (to tell you when the seal is bad)
you need a special tool to do it... a waterpump puller... if you got an 04 you should still be under warrenty... bring it to your dealer and have them do it... either way this shouldnt have happened so soon.

Yeah and this is with 20 hrs on it. I guess it will have to go in. Now all I need is to find a single brake lever without having to buy the whole unit. Know where I can find a replacment?..............................thanks hozed

Badazzpred, don't feel bad. I've had two of those mechanical seals fail on my KLR-650. The first time it happened, there was only about 1000 miles on the bike.
