hey everyone, i'm new to the forum here. my mechanical seal is out on my 2001 sportsman 500 HO. i tried to order a mechanical seal puller from victor specialty tools, but am having very bad luck with them. i wouldn't recommend dealing with them. anyway, does anyone know of another place i can order a tool? i have a big ride coming up in 3 weeks and am desperate to get my wheeler fixed. any any advice at all would be helpful. thanks

 

not familiar with the seal but i may have a way to remove it without a puller. is it a pressed in seal? if you can easily see the face of it screw two self tapping sheetmetal screws into the face of it. grab the screws with pliers and pull out .
