400ex vs trailblazer
#33
but Remember, the 250 is a 2-stroke, and in reality is only about 2-4 horsepower shy of the 400 ex, it just has alot more weight to deal with to hinder it, motorwise, yes you can , realtively easily put the trailblazer ahead of the ex, but chasis and weight are hard to overcome.

Lurch, I don't doubt your claim given the conditions, but how exactly does reverse help you beat him in a race?
Other than that these two bikes shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence . . . one is for race and serious sport riding and the other is an entry level quad.

i just went on a very fast ride with my cousin who has a 400ex. if the trail was twisty i could hang with him because he didnt have the ***** to hold her open in the corners. once ther was a hint of a straight he was gone. if i had a pipe and cluch kit (hoping to get soon) i could hang with him better. the trailblazer fells more solid in the corners because it is a junk load wider than the ex. by the way, my hand hurt for 2 days after the ride from holding it wide open for 70 miles, i need a twist throttle and new grips!!!
