Speedometer

For the TB my dealer said $195 or $230 installed. Seemed a little steep to me so I am trying the Cat Eye Bike Speedometer. I am installing it Wednesday and will let you know how it goes. The unit looks pretty tough and it is waterproof. It has a good sized LED display. It cost me $30.

I installed the Cateye Enduro II today. Total time was about 2.5 hours. A lot of that was figuring out how it hooked up and where the best place would be. The wire is too short so you will have to splice in about 18 inches. No big deal. The enduro fits perfect on the Trail Boss handlebars right next to the center rubber cap. Almost looks like it belongs there. I used epoxy to attach the magnet to the inside of the rim and epoxy to attach the sensor to the brake calipar(facing to the inside of the wheel), as well. It looks to be out of the way and very secure. I will be riding hard this Friday and I will let you know how it holds up. Looks like there will be no problems.
