cant tell you , had new axles put in before i ever rode it, seems to be somthing with the brake system. i rode it yesterday for a short while and i could only get it to bind up by touching the hand brake lever. i've never owned a polaris before , had it for 5 weeks it's been in the shop for 2 of them, thurday will be 3 weeks total..man i miss my honda

Well, without more specific info on the problem its really hard to say what is going on. If it really is in the braking system, then it sounds like a stuck caliper. No matter what the problem is (especially if it's in the brakes), your dealer should not be taking this long. That is completely unacceptable. No offense, but if they cannot figure out what the problem is in an hour or less, they are not qualified to be working on it. You might want to consider taking it to a 'real' dealer.

PICKUP MY 700 TODAY, TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALER{65 MILES AWAY} . BEFORE I GOT BACK TO WORK THEY CALLED TO SAY IT WAS THE LEFT FRONT CALIPER STICKING!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE A QUILTY DEALER MAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HOPE THEY ARE RIGHT

I THINK ITS FIXED, AFTER ABOUT WEEK AT ANOTHER POLARIS DEALER IT SEEM THAT MY FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS WERE THE PROBLEM. IS THIS A COMMON PROBLEM ?? I'VE BEEN A HONDA OWNER FOR MANY YEARS , I HOPE THESE KIND OF THINGS DONT KEEP HAPPENING. MAY HAVE TO TRADE FOR NEW HONDA!!!!

Wheel bearing would be a first that I have heard of being a problem. This is the only one I have heard of. Honda might be a bit better in quality/fit&finish/reliability, but there is no way a Honda will ride as nice, have as much torque, have as much ground clearance, have as much towing capacity, rack capacity, etc. And if you get the 650 Rincon, God help you on that overly complex automatic tranny. It's a freaking auto tranny???? Simple and light weight is a good thing in a auto tranny on a quad. Not busting on the Honda, but it's in a whole different league than the Sportsman.
