My first atv was also bought for me by my father. It was a Honda 90 ATC that he gave $500 for. I had to split firewood to get enough money to buy parts and gas for the thing, but I loved riding it as much as my newer, more expensive machines. Hard to believe that my winch and plow on my Magnum costs more than my first atv!!

I am gad to see that I'm not the only older guy
on these forums. My wife said I was spending too
much time on the atv con, cause it only has a bunch
of kids with nothing esle to do hanging out on it.
So far I can at least show her there are other
guys out there, besides my freinds that like 4wheelers & talking about them.

Thanks to all that respond

LOL I used to wash dishes 3 nights a week, for money for gas and parts. I know it the Warrior was 2300 and the 3 wheelers were 1500 in think brand new. or right around there. I tended to go through one hell of allot more parts back then. I am not sure if it is tougher machines or i am just slowing down?

I'm 37. I just this week bought a 500 Scrambler 4x4, to keep ahead of all those big ol' SP500s that my buddies ride.

I've got the "vette". I'll get the "caddy" when I get old. Maybe the SP will have like a 1400 cc engine by then. COOL !!

Oh, BTW, my buddies that ride the SPs are, 40, 37, and 20. It just kills the young 'un that I can SMOKE him. He can get me stuck in EXTREME mud, but he usually gets stuck too.

I don't own a polaris, but I went ridding last weekend with a 62 year old gentleman that just went crazy over a little mud. He rode a Magnum 500.
