Default 10 hour service??? sp 700.

my dealer wants $160 to do a 10 hour service. Says he replaces all fluids except coolant. And he was such a gentleman as to send me a 10 buck discount on it. I am thinking more like oil/filter change and find all the zerks. And check all the coolant clamps. for $15 and an hour. btw, I avoid heavy mud and deep water. Any opinions?
thanks

I would say if you are able to do it yourself that that would be alot cheaper, checking it over, changing oil/filter, air filter check, and whatever else the ownersmanul suggests to do at 10 hrs... thats what i do anyways..just my opinion..

Take that $160 you would have spent, and buy yourself a Polaris service manual. Then buy the Polaris oil change kit (yeah, they actually sell a kit with everything you need). Then maybe throw down for a grease gun, some grease, and perhaps an ATV/motorcycle jack (these are very cool, and make finding the zerks a snap). You'll still have money left over, and the confidence and knowledge you'll acquire about your machine will pay off someday, guaranteed.
