Default How do I...

I have been trying to get the graphics off of my Trailblazer for quite some time now, and I have been having one heck of a time. The decal won't pull off as one peice, it will just pull apart into a thousand peices, and that stuff is harder than heck to get it to peel off. Is there any easy way to take the decals off. I really need some help, because my fourwheeler looks stupid with half of my grapics on, and half torn off. Thanks

Try heating it up with a hairdrier and CAREFULLY using a razor blade. Then clean the residu with some Goo-Be-Gone. Either that or blast the heck out of it witha pressure washer

I was going to try the hairdryer trick, but I was first going to see if there was some sort of chemical that eats it away or something. Actually, I have used the pressure washer tactic, thats how i got about half of the graphics off. Those little things are pretty stubborn. lol. I will have to try the hairdryer thing once i get it back from my dealer. Thanks

yup, no simple way unless you peel them off right when you get it from the factory. They make a plastic scraper but it still scratches polaris plastic. Heatgun/hairdryer and patience will do it. I have taken off about 10 sets of graphics. Oi its a pain.

I think the stickers have a psychic powers. If you like them, they peel off when you wash it. If you don't, it's like they're imbedded into the plastic. Goo-Gone works pretty good.

Take it to a coin operated power washer, the decals blow right off, no residue left at all. id it to my warning stickers and had to be careful of the regular graphics so that they did not come off.

with my warning stickers i just picked a bit free then yanked hard and fast on it....they still ripped but usally got 70% off on the first pull and it left the plastic clean and unscratched!

Hi,

I've removed all my warning labels by using a rag soaked in lacquer thinner, Just hold the soaked rag on the graphic/ decal for a while and they peel right off, I take another clean rag soaked with lacquer thinner and wipe away the adhesive residue, and it doesn't affect the plastic finish like can happen with a scraper, razor blade, or getting the plastic too hot with a heat gun.. Good luck..
