hey guys, i was thinking of buying a trailmower for the scrambler. will this be to difficult without low gear in the scrambler? and does anyone have recommendations on a mower ( if i can use it with the scrammy)? thanks again

 

I think you should pull it with the V.LOL The grass stains won't show on the plastic.

 

Friend mows with a 60" mower and it does a great job. I am saving to get a 44" or 60" myself. He mows 2+ acres in less time than I mow less than half an acre. He used to use his Expidition 325 and now has a 500 HO, both mow the yard great and he does use low on the 500 HO. I would only wonder how using high might affect the life of the belt, but belts are not that expensive and simple to replace.

He uses a rebadged Swisher, sold by Orscheln. I think they make most of the trailmowers out there.

I have a 60" swisher i pull behind my prairie. If you are going to pull it with a belt driven quad, you really need to have low range. If your polaris drive system is anything like kawi's (which it is) it will wear on your belt faster. I have mowed with mine for over a year and have had no belt issues. If you have any acrege at all you will love this setup. If you have a bunch of trees i would go another route.
