MY TRAILBOSS HAS DEVELOPED A CLICKING SOUND IN THE REAR DRIVE TRAIN.I HAVE INSTALLED NEW SPROCKETS AND O-RING CHAIN.IT DID IT WHILE THE CHAIN WAS OFF,SO I REPLACED THE AXLE BEARINGS WITH BETTER THAN STOCK.STILL DOES IT,BUT NOT AS MUCH.SEEMS TO "CLICK"ONLY WHEN THE BARS ARE TURNED LEFT OR RIGHT.I GETTIN' REAL ANGRY!ANYONE KNOW OF A FIX?BESIDES TRADING FOR A SHAFT DRIVE QUAD.

mind does that, but only when i'm going in reverse. Are you sure your chain is tightened properly?

Oh yeah, you won't see me trading my chain in for a shaft

I had the same problem with a Suzuki I owned years ago. It turned out to be the hub was loose on the axle splines. Unfortunately till I figured that out it had wore the splines down to the point that the axle and hub needed replaced. Polaris recommends that the splines be greased. I think this is a good idea and now check the hub bolt regularly. If your problem is like mine it will do it worse when turning sharply.

See my post the clicking 500 axle. Brakes could be some of the problem.
