Default cooling fan problem...part 2

A week ago I posted that my cooling fan was locked up and wasn't kicking on...but I also said that I was having some electrical problems and that might be the cause of why it wasn't kicking on...Well I got my new key switch in so the electric issue was solved...I removed the fan and I broke it loose so it could spin freely...BUT...its still not kicking on..which tells me the motor is burned up...I just wanted to ask you guys to get backup on my hypothesis....because In about 3 hours I'm calling my dealer to see if they have a fan in stock and if they don't then I'm just going to have them order it....I need a fan before this weekend so I can go riding! So just reassure me that the motor on the fan is burned up........UNLESS~ you have another idea of what might be the problem........thanks

If you had to "break it loose", yes, you have some internal issues.

ya, I'm just going to call the dealer today...hopefully they have one in stock and wont have to order it...I just have to make sure everything is running good before my trip to hatfield mccoy..after that I don't care because I'm going to sell it.

did you check the fan switch in the top of the radiator, this determines when the fan comes on or off. if it is broke your fan may never come on even if it free to turn and working right.
