removal of the drive clutch

Default removal of the drive clutch

Does anyone know how and what tool to use to remove the drive clutch?
On a 95' 400 Explorer 4x4

You need a clutch puller. You can buy one from Ebay, HPD, your dealer, and othe rperformance shops. Or you can make your own from a threaded rod. I believe that it is 3/4" fine thread

it seems HPD has the best price for the puller,id check ebay and if nothing there go with hpd..

Pol shop has them. NOTE; A trick I've learned. If your clutch has been on the shaft forever. Take out the cl. bolt and fill the hole with grease. Then put the puller in and crank it . The grease acts like a hydraulic press assist. Works mint. Did it on sleds for years.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Big Bad, You and I have to stay out of the moron zone in the utility forum. I have the 245 5.7liter in my 97. New exactly what you were gettin at. Those boys need to crack a beer and relax.

My woman likes to go so you can bring yours if she likes to keep an eye on ya. LOL. Well I appreciate it. The same goes for you. (although I dont have a spare wheeler[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]) But its nice to see someone stand up for what they believe in once in awhile. Even though others are quick to jump down their throats
