I have a 2000 400 scrammy all HPD'd out and it already has had a good diet.What I would like to know is if any of you have any other ideas that I haven't thought about.
I aready cut out the starting system and battery,I removed the floor boards,removed the sprocket/brake guard,took off all useless plastics,removed reverse,and started using ti bolts.
What would you guys do? i still want to be able to ride in the trails so anything having to do with removing any brakes IS OUT!!!
The next thing to do is HOPE for HPD to release There race frame,but for now I will lighten this pig as much as i can.

 

While I'm on this subject,,what about My Predator.What can I do to lighten It too.

 

Check hpd's site the race frame has been released but it's spendy.

 

do the oil block off kit and then premix your oil

 

did you remove your lights??? race bumper....shave plastic.....get the race frame from hpd....and if you can't shed any more weight off the quad...then your going to have to loose some weight on yourself....I meen,,every five pounds counts...right!

 

where are you guys seeing the race frame on hpd's site?i seen the whole machine for sale,but not the frame only?

 

The race frame is very pricey and is not any lighter than a fully lightened stock chassis, though it probably is stronger!

Got to their site. Look under "Models" then "POWERMAXX RACE QUAD " That is the kit. There are actually 3 kits.
The race frame has duel a-arms too. Not to mention, TEAM axel, Lonstar carrier, billter hubs, ect ect ect. The best of the best for lots of $$$$$

 

um, cut the front end off and weld on a banshee or 250r front end, ive seen it done and if u set it up right it will work like a dream.
