dont do any rock crawling , the belt doesnt like it to mutch!!! if you go in the mud bog your going to get FRICKIN DIRTY[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] mine is a 2 stroke and is hard on gas. drain the starter case when you go in deep water , dont ad to many lights ,,,the alternator is kinda week , i put 2 h3 fog lights up front and tied them to my high beem switch . if the engine acts up it may very well be the etc . good luck

As far as maintence goes, change the oil, trans fuild, front gearcase fluid, and hub fluid evey 100 hours. A valve adjustment is recommended at the same time. Keep an eye on your cv boots. Check your chain adjustment too. A chain tensionor really helps like ftwflh mentioned. There are substitutes to the Polaris fluids as well. You can run Mobil 1 0W-40 "European car formula" synthetic motor oil, or Amsoil 0W-40 "4 stroke formula" oil for the engine, Mobil 1 synthetic ATF or ATF tpye-F for the hubs (Mobil 1 works better), Amsoil Series 2000 Chaincase lube or Klotz makes a chaincase lube as well for the transmission, and any 80W-90 synthetic GL5 gear oil for the front diff
