hey im new to the forum but ive been browsing for a few months

anyways i bought a 2000 scrambler 400 4x4 a few weeks ago and i have a few questions

first of all where can i get some nerf bars for it i cant seem to find any made for a srammy


second of all ( the most important [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] ) my friends gettin a '02 scrambler 500 H.O. 4x4... will mine beat him if there both stock or will it be close

final question..... im lookin to replace my stock pipe but i dont want a real loud one but i want the most power out of one i can get what brand should i look at and what one

You have many options. I say most people would say hpd or rick ritter. HPD's site

Just wondering why you would want nerf bars for the scrammy when they already have the full floorboard?

haha i dont really know i like how they look compared to the regular floor boards

HSP is the only place that makes them for scramblers. But, you can modify Banshee or Raptor nerfs to fit

AS for the noise factor with a pipe, This was one of my big concerns also.

Most of the pipes still wotk great with your factory silencer and power loss in minimal. I have used both Hot Seat and HPD trail pipe with the stock silencer. Noise it greatly reduced.

As for your race, The 400 and 500 are very close in stock form, You throw a pipe and clutching on your 400 and you will have no problem.

Keep in mind weight is a HUGE factor, If one of you weight considerably more than the other then the heavier person is at a majior disadvantage.
