why do my brakes squeal?

Default why do my brakes squeal?

the brakes(front) on my 01 xplorer 400 squeal terribly. there appears to plenty of brake pad still there. any ideas? thanks

they must have dirt up in them,mine do that and i just spray water on the brake pads and they go away.

Default why do my brakes squeal?

you need to put adhesive on the pads that glue them to the piston and the caliper. they are vibrating when you apply the brakes.
