Default redoing the brake system

alright since my trailblazer is in 50 pieces i decided to do the brakes all over so the backs and fronts will work seperately. now i no how im gonna block off the lines going to the back but i dont know how im gonna do the back. im thinking of doing another junction box, u think this is a good idea? i no i will have to run 1 line from the resivour then split to 2 lines by the cylinder some how. so basically i need to know what i need for fittings and other things. also can you cut a hydraulic line, then put fittings on the end to go into the junction box?????

You will have to have a separate resivour for each circut. And I am not sure what you are talking about when you say junction box? You will have a piston on the break lever, and usually on the Handle bar mounted breaks the resevour is located on the lever mount also, but I guess it would depend on whether you are planning on using a second lever on the right or not or a foot break. Well actually you will not be able to use another handle bar mounted resevour because of the throttle, and it may be hard to find something that will work there. YOu may have to us a foot break. But anyhow, you will have to come up with another resevour either way(if you ose a right hand break or foot). break lines are crimp fittings and I don't think that you will be able to do that yourself, as you will need a special die machine to do this. You may be able to find a place that can do this for you. You will have to provide the lengths though...

The think I dislike about polaris's quads is the one hydrolic break lever, on the left hand side, where most bikes it is the clutch. When I ride my buddies raptor, or banshee I get confused sometimes. I would like to mount a second lever on the right HandleBar, get rid of the left hand and set up a foot hyd. peddle for the rear break... I am lucky in a way, I have a crimper at work, the hard part is sneeking them out the door, LOL!!!
