i went to do a plug check on jackstands today and while doing a 1/4 throttle run,she blew.the antifreeze starting boiling and squirting out the overflow cap.the dummie light never came on because the wire had fallen off.the plug reading was a little lean.i only have 90lbs of compression.the good news is,the next time i ride her,she will be trail ported, except im broke, anyone wanna give a donation?

im assuming she got hot from running lean and i didnt catch it in time, because the dummie light didnt come on.i took the head off and the top of the piston looks to be fine and the cylinder seems to be ok also,i guess the rings went?

Yea if everything looks to be fine then rings would be my first guess.

LOL.....anything to get more mods. I told the other half that I could not climb hills, so I had to do some things to the engine....to get more power to get up the hills. Then she was talking to one of my buddy's and he told her that my quad will scream after I get it back together. So he let the cat out of the bag.

I'm going to do some more things to mine, and I will be done. I think I might get a pred next year.

hey,it is when you're riding you must check the plug reading,,,
as the engine spin on the jackstand without the proper warm up then it start overheating quickly it is not moving so no air to breath then a lean mixture especially in the garage,,,.
just don't forget to get a wiseco with the proper clerance and
bleed her well before going out.
