I dont think that polaris will bring out a 800 scrammy...I mean the ute I could see...but a sportier machine no...the reason why I say this is because if it is an auto...think about the weight (yes yes I know people always say polaris's are heavy but c'mon....a 800 auto scrammy...sound heavy) But I am sure the thing would be a torque monster!

Polaris needs to come out with a 350 or 400 Predator due to the 400 Scrambler being discontinued and probably the Trail blazer within the next year or two. A 700 EFI Scrambler with a more sporty chassis to compete with the V-force would also be nice. The 800 EFI would have to be a Sportsman (Brute force beater).

LOL ok you want facts. Now this is when the big bores first came out, BUT not much has changed. I know the Kawi 700 isn't very much faster on topend than the old 650 and the 700 EFI is almost the same with the old 700 twin with just a little more up top and a hole lot more on the bottom. The 700 EFI as reported by Dirt Wheels said it was the second fastest on take off. Polaris did change up some things to get that. The 700 EFI's topend is about 3 MPH higher than the 700 Twin which was the fastest in topend but slowest in take off. Now it's second fastest take off highest topend. Now I love the Kawi's great lowend power but when it comes to the up top it is lacking....

We can call it a tie because you have the fastest take off and I have the fastest topend.....

ATV Mag big bore test (2002)
That may have been true with the 650, but the 700 is better on the top end. Check out the GNCC drag times of the big bores. The kawa700 was the fastest in hole shot and top end, then followed by the polaris EFI and then the griz. Based on what they said, the polaris EFI and the griz were closer than the kawa and the polaris EFI.
I'm not saying that's not true, but do you have the link to that? I would like to read it. The Kawi is a awsome ATV, if I did not like Polaris so much I would buy the new BF750 or KQ700 in a second it's the only thing close to a Sportsman IMO. I just don't want you to think I'm knocking the Kawi, because I am not at all, it is a VERY good ATV to say the very least about it. Now that it has IRS, Polaris had better come out with a 800 if they want to keep fighting Kawi for the top displacement spot.

I feel the same about polaris. If I didn't have a kawasaki 700, I would probably have a SP700efi. They make great quads too. My kawa700 is more on the sporter side of the utility and the 700efi polaris is more on the true utility side. Mine is great for trail riding, mud and most everything, but the polaris is hands down better at deep mudding due to the IRS. The polaris, AC650 and griz are probably the best mudders out there. But we will have to wait and see about the 750BF since it has IRS. But just to let you know, I respect polaris and what they have done. They have some great ideas.
