dont be surprised when if the rumored 700cc twin comes out that it have something never seen before on an atv. It would make no sense for the enginneers at polaris to keep the old sp just bored out. So dont be surprised if you see something weird. And if they do have a sp700 dont be surprised if they go as far as to put a stock cupholder. I belive Polaris is the trend setter for any atv manu. So be prepared.

I figured that Polaris might make a new Sportsman 400 to take the 335's place.I love my 335 but a Sportsman 400 would be great. As for the 700, I believe it will be a sport quad. I think this because ATVconnection's spy photo's were of a 700 twin with clutch and gears. Duh! Polaris won't make a Sportsman 700 Utility with a clutch!Unless there is another prototype of a Ut. setup that ATVconn. didn't catch. The frame in ATVconn.'s picture was obviously for testing purposes of the new motor. No manuf. is going to make an ATV frame that massive, I hope!?!

how do u know that that prototype was testing the 700cc twin? Polaris has said nothing officially abut the 700. ill bet the sp700 will look very similar to the current sp500 except for color and the engine.

Speaking of colors, what color should they add to the new quad to make it unique? I think ORANGE would look tite.

You can have an engine that can take a manual clutch and auto. Look at the Expedition 325, although it doesnt have a manual clutch, It has the same engine as the Magnum. All the Auto do different is shift the gears for you.

When I was talking to my dealer Saturday when I traded, he said that there would be a 400 Sportsman, and also said that the 700 machine would be at the dealer show (he said in Reno) in Sept., but they would not be taking orders then. He said that he didn't know if the Sp400 would be a 2 or 4 stroke. He also said that these new brake lines are steel braided, so they would not expand when pressure is applied to them.
