Default pred jetting?

This jetting crap Is driving me nuts! I currently own a 04 polaris pred and live In south eastern wisconsin which I am being told Is In the 0 to 6,000 ft elevation range. but Im not exactly sure on my exact elevation for this area. the current mods are
1) stock air-box with the k&n drop-in panel filter and 5 one inch uni-vents In the back of the box
2) pure polaris slip-on exhaust with 8 discs and spark arrestor
Would anybody know exactly what I should do to the carb with my mods and elevation range?

I would try a 50 pilot and a 165 main to start, leave the needle stock. Remove the plug over the fuel mixture screw so you can fine tune the pilot circuit.

when i ran my drop in with my vents and pipe, i ran just a 162.5 mj @ sea level... so if i were you i would try a 157.5 - 160 the WB pipe doesnt get as much flow as my biggun does... so thats why i say go a little lower.

damn hozed where did ya go
I talked with doug over at nichoals
he said with the mods I have to run a 160 main with the stock pilot raise the clip one and turn out the screw 2.5 turns from closed I did this and checked the plug after and it is pure white which tells me its running lean also I noticed that upon start up the idle was way to hi so i re adjusted to 1600+or- also when i would rev it quick at idle it would seem like it would take longer for the idle to come down whats the prob?

I need to know exactly what would be the best all around set-up on the carb with my mods and elevation like as in
1) what main jet size?
2) what pilot jet size if needed at all?
3) the e-clip position on the needle if at all?
4) and the air/fuel mixture screw, how many turns if at all? stock is 2.5 turns from fully closed.

I am running a 172.5 main jet.....but I am about to go down to a 170 main, possibly a 167.5, I am just having a little on the top end, with sputtering. Doug is probably right on the rest of the carb, just change your jet to about 167.5 or 170 and see how you like it. He probably likes it to run white, which means it runs better, but not as long. Give the 167.5 and 170 a try.
